We have been asking you what you think are the main issues affecting the people of Plymouth in health and social care provision.

Below you can see what issues have been identified and what the Plymouth LINk has done to address your concerns.

 

 

Below is a list of areas the LINk is currently looking at.  Click on the attached reports for information.

• Access to NHS dentists in Plymouth.  We met with the Primary Care lead and asked him questions about provision.  Click here to read his responses

• Delayed transfer from Derriford Hospital (high number of bed spaces held up by people needing to leave hospital).  We met with the Operations Manager at Derriford Hospital and asked questions to identify reasons and underlying issues.  Click here to read what happened. 

• Feedback from the public indicates that there are concerns about the quality of care received in care homes.  Members of the LINk Host Team attended a meeting of the Care Home Forum and gave a presentation about the LINk.  Click here to find about about Patient Environment Action Teams (PEAT) who inspect care homes.
